The Aboriginal Business Match (ABM) is the most powerful Aboriginal business development event in Western Canada.

ABM is designed to connect First Nations and Metis communties with the private sector to create opportunities for business.

The event employs a unique trade show format of pre-scheduled appointments to discuss business opportunities between pre-qualified business matches.

First Nations and Metis communities are one side of the match; all other delegates participate on the exhibitor side.

The combination of technology, preparation process and appointment structure makes ABM highly effective.

About ABM 2013


ABM 2013 took place in Penticton from February 18 to 21.

120 BC First Nations and 140 corporate decision makers met one-on-one with schedules of up to 31 twenty-minute appointments.

Over 2.5 days there were 6,950 individual delegate meetings, or more than 2,316 person-hours of targeted business development time.

An estimated $30 million of new deals were initiated between First Nations and the private sector.
